CSCS 2012 – Round 4 – Cayuga

23 Aug, 2012

The August 2012 of the CSCS started off with little incident with the MTO and the OPP. However many participants and spectators were used to this from the Darknights days. I arrived at 1:30pm and passed by few police without issues and the racing was already on the way at the track!

Some fast cars from previous events were missing along with some vendors as well. But quite a few new cars showed up for the lapping and time attack. There was also a special drifter from the US that came up just for this CSCS.

For some reason the time attack were putting slower times compared to qualifying. CanJam sponsored a new fully built STi which came out for some tuning. Kimi was out again at this CSCS this time with his Ferrari F430 Scuderia and he was able to get the best time of the day with 1:15.5 but still 2 seconds away from the lap record!
