At Irwindale Speedway, California. This year combined D1 Grand Prix USA Competition and D1 Grand Prix World Championship. This years’ event invited the best drivers from around the world who were all there to compete in front of the 11,000 drift fans. This event had everything, thrills, spills and smoking tires. Intuned Online would like to congratulate Vaughn Gittin Jr. who took the 2007 D1 Grand Prix World All-Star Championship. Vaughn raced his Falken Ford Mustang through 4 rounds to be crowned victorious. This weekend also wrapped up the 2007 Irwindale Season Finale Tournament naming Nobushige Kumakubo with his Lancer Evo champion of the tournament. As the D1 Grand Prix continues to grow with more fans, competitors and sponsors, we anxiously await the start of the New Year and the 2008 D1 Season.
