DMCC Round Four 2011 – Montmagny

31 Jul, 2011

It was the second time this season the Drift Mania Canadian Championship came to Autodrome Montmagny for the 4th round of competition. As a change for spectators and competitors DMCC officials re-configured the track with a completely new layout. Drift fans filled the stands to watch their favorite drivers compete and despite a freak storm which occurred minutes before the practice session the remainder of the event went off perfectly. All of the drivers stepped up their performance as this event falls directly in the middle of the season and the race to the championship is on. Miro Ovcharik took the top position with Dave Briggs in 2nd and first time in a DMCC event Tanner Munson took 3rd. The intensity will only continue moving into the next event August 14th in Bowmanville, ON at Mosport.
