DMCC Round 6 Final
23 Sep, 2010
This past weekend wrapped up the 2010 Drift Mania Canadian Championship. The short technical course at Mosport Speedway proved to be challenging for all the drivers with only 6 racers qualifying for the final competition. Rising to the top of the event was Marc Landreville in his pink S14 taking 1st place in Round 6 and boosting his point standings to take 3rd overall this season. Despite some challenges with the track layout Pat Cyr's steady performance all season long allowed for enough points to end the season 2nd overall with his green s2000 powered AE86.
1st place for 2010 DMCC points standings goes to Matt 'The Wolf" Waldin. Matt has been a consistent driver and joy to watch all season long. On approach for Top 4 competition with Bob Patinka, Matt blew the engine on his Turbo'd 350z but had more than enough points to finish in top position for the year. As fans of DMCC and drifting in general we look forward to what next year has to offer.
Congratulation to Matt "The Wolf" Waldin
