Eibach meet 08

The Eibach company in Corona, California holds the largest exclusive all Honda and Acura every year right at the beginning of the summer. Every year the meet is a massive display of the hottest cars in the country, owned by members of the infamous Honda forum, Honda-Tech.com. California is the top state in the country for modified cars, and everyone knows if you need something for your car, it’s in California. California is already known for its impeccable cars and amazing weather, and when you bring these two things together in the biggest meet of the year, you are guaranteed to see the hottest cars and newest fads done in the best ways possible. Corona is located about 40 minuets out of Los Angeles and is in an industrial district along with other large companies.
The meet kicked of at 7am for people with VIP spots and booths, and 8am for everyone else. Booths that were there included WekSos, Ground Control, JERKwrench, Spoon, Norm Reeves Honda, and many others. Along with the booths, the main crowd pleasers were the California’s famous Honda Crews.
Crews in attendance were Phaze2, DPK, HASBACK, Jerkwrench, and various smaller crews. With California car crews, it isn’t about the quantity, it’s about the quality, these crews often find the next best thing and set the trend for others to follow, and maybe even Ebay to follow. The cars are always presented with the cleanest paint, wildest engine bays that were at the same time uniquely simple.
The weather at this years meet was unbelievably hot, around 101 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. The heat didn’t affect the Honda fans, people were still enjoying the meet, taking pictures, meeting new people, and admiring the best cars in the country. Even if you didn’t have a set of baller wheels or that rare lip, you could still bring your car in and be part of the meet and show off your car. Music was being played by a DJ and pizza was passed out by Eibach, so everyone was happy. The cars that were there wrapped around the Eibach warehouse and factory, which is also a research and development center. Eibach also let cars park inside the warehouse, where tables were set up with chairs for the people to take a break from the heat. Most of the people left around 4pm because the day was pretty much over, and the heat finally got to be too much.
