Performance Motorsport: Global Time Attack race at NJMP

The Performance Motorsport team made a weekend trip to Milleville NJ in early August, to compete in the Global Time Attack event held at New Jersey Motorsports Park. While the morning of competition started out with rain, the day eventually turned into a nice, sunny and bright day although staying very hot and humid. We competed in our 2011 Nissan 370Z that was basically stock in the 'engine mods' department. Despite the car's lack of high horsepower, it faired well against the competition who made significant higher power. Driven by Gary Rubio, we finished 3rd in the Unlimited RWD class with a lap time of 1:14.337 as well as 2nd place in our Corvette Z06, driven by Carmine Dell Aquila, with a lap time of 1:12.154.
