SEMA – 2012

06 Nov, 2012

The 2012 SEMA Show has come to an end and we are already in high anticipation for next year. As always SEMA delivered the best of the best in terms of new products, demonstrations and of course the cars. If we had to describe this year's show with one phrase it would be "FR-S Domination!"

The Scion FR-S was announced as the hottest sport compactat SEMA and almost every exhibitor had one to showcase their new products. Some of our favorite Scion's from the show had one thing in common; body kits from Rocket Bunny another name you will hear for a long time to come. Similar to the impact from RWB last year, the Rocket Bunny kit for the Scion FR-S gives the car a wider, more aggressive look for a vehicle that is much more affordable than the average Porsche.

Ford took center stage outside the Las Vegas Convention Center and entertained spectators all week long with ride-alongs in Ford Vehicles, classic Shelbys and even with Ford Motorsport Pro's Tanner Foust, Vaughn Gittin Jr and Ken Block who also entertained with demonstrations for FormulaD and Global RallyCross. Inside, Ford unveiled some new versions and concepts on their current vehicle base including a Tanner Foust Edition Ford Focus.

Honda/Acura booth showcased a number of customized vehicles and race cars from Honda's rich history, the absolute stand-out was the all-new NSX sitting fresh in the center of their booth with Tony Stark's license plate still mounted on the rear. Hyundai went big this year with some big performance cars including a big boost Accent from Bisimoto.

This year we were also excited to see the return to VeilSide at SEMA; in added excitement they showcased High End Performance's Fortune RX-7 fresh out of the paint booth with a new color and rocking a set of new SSR wheels. Their booth also hosted a hot Chargespeed Subaru which we were also fond of as both cars were supporting Intuned Online with Tanoshi decals. Tanoshi wasn't alone as we spotted him a few more times in the courtyard including a VeilSide 350Z and modified RSX.

Over the next couple of months we will be showcasing some of the new products released from SEMA so stay tuned for more, in the meantime enjoy the photos, more are available on our Facebook Page , don't forget to like us!

It's impossible to do but if we had to pick 5 favorites from SEMA 2012 this would be our list, and they are in no particular order:

1. Liberty Walk Lamborghini
2. VeilSide Fortune RX-7
3. Rocket Bunny FR-S
4. BenSopra GT-R
5. SR20 Powered Datsun BlueBird
