“FALKEN TIRE” COLLABORATES WITH NOTED ARTIST TO CREATE EXCITING & COLLECTIBLE FALKEN GIVEAWAYS INTUNEDONLINE

FONTANA, CA – As Falken Tire, a leader among high performance tire companies, continues the expansion of its motorsports activities for the 2012 racing season, the brand has announced a collaboration with noted artist Gregg “Viz” Visintainer who has created several special art pieces that will be made into posters, apparel and stickers to be distributed at races and other events throughout the year.

“Viz’s talents, expression and style are a perfect fit for Falken’s brand image,” said Nick Fousekis, Falken Director of Motorsports and Consumer Events. “Viz Art Ink is a unique expression revealing a statement, feeling and emotion, and mirrors how we believe our customers feel about our products. We strive to make the driving experience more enjoyable and through our motorsports programs, build a connection and a passion for the Falken brand.

“On the motorsports front, we are proud of our collaboration with Viz in developing what we call Falken’s ‘2012 swag and giveaway’ package,’” Fousekis added.

Falken Tire competes in many fields of motorsports including Formula Drift, where it is the reigning champion for the second year in a row, as well as the American Le Mans Series, where the team will field a brand new 2012 Porsche 911 GT3 RSR in the GT class –the same class in which Falken won two of 10 races in 2011 – in addition to a number of off-road events, including first place – in collaboration with Savvy Off Road – in the Stock Class at the Every Man Challenge as part of the King of the Hammers event in February.
