Nike Holiday 2011 Snowboard Boots

09 Dec, 2011

Nike has a long tradition of cutting-edge innovation. Our rich design heritage is also filled with straight-up classics. Both streams converge in our Holiday 2011 line, which offers the latest in performance features as well as both classic and progressive style.

Our design team’s attention to technical detail borders on the obsessive, and it’s safe to say they’ve come up with game-changing ways to improve both board feel and comfort.

The Zoom Air cushioning system is more responsive than a traditional air bag, yet lighter than traditional gel. Several boots also incorporate Warming Blanket Strobel Technology—inspired by the technology used by NASA to insulate spacesuits—in the liner and shell. The Kaiju uses Nike Free technology for revolutionary board feel, and that one boot alone has no less than seven patents pending.

Our drive for technical innovation is aided and abetted by our team. Team riders give suggestions, input, and feedback, all the way from sketch stage to product testing—shredding—on the slopes.

The gear performs, no question. It’s also infused with Nike’s design heritage, and draws on such classics as the Air Force 1, the Air Max 95, and the Dunk, as well as our more forward-looking designs.

So on the hill or off, all day or all night, our Holiday 2011 line offers the best of our technical development, team R&D, and design, all for one reason: so you can look good and ride better.
